Participants must:
-
Stay in publicly accessible areas unless invited otherwise.
-
Respect operating hours.

Follow all site-specific rules.

QR Codes and Check-Ins
Participants must physically visit locations to complete check-ins.
QR codes, verification information, trivia questions, and other hunt materials may not be distributed, posted publicly, or shared in a way that allows others to claim visits they did not make.
Each participant may only claim a location once. Duplicate check-ins for the same participant and location may be removed during the verification process. If a technical issue results in multiple submissions, event organizers will use the most complete and accurate record when reviewing progress.
Event organizers reserve the right to invalidate submissions that appear fraudulent, duplicated, incomplete, or inconsistent with event participation requirements.
Technical Issues
Technology occasionally fails.
If a participant experiences difficulty scanning a QR code or submitting a check-in:
-
Take a photo showing your visit and a photo of the QR code sign.
-
Record the location name.
-
Make note of the date and approximate time.
-
Continue your expedition.
-
Contact event organizers through the website.
Organizers may use submitted information to help verify visits when technical issues occur.
Photography and Media
Participants may take photographs throughout the event.
By voluntarily submitting photos through the website, participants grant permission for event organizers to use submitted images for promotional, educational, historical, and event-related purposes unless otherwise prohibited by law.
Participants should only submit photos they have permission to share.
Safety First
Participants should:
-
Remain aware of traffic and surroundings.
-
Stay on designated paths and walkways.
-
Follow all pedestrian laws.
-
Use caution near roadways, railways, rivers, trails, and uneven terrain.
-
Dress appropriately for weather conditions.
-
Carry water and necessary supplies.
Do not enter restricted, fenced, closed, or hazardous areas.
Challenge Coin Qualification
Challenge coin eligibility is based on successful completion of event requirements established by organizers.
Completion records may be reviewed before awards are issued.
Event organizers reserve the right to review submissions for accuracy and completeness. Duplicate entries, incomplete records, or submissions that cannot be reasonably verified may not count toward challenge coin qualification.
Organizers reserve the right to request clarification or additional verification when necessary.
Challenge coins are available while supplies last unless otherwise announced.
